Cisco Unified Voice Project Enterprise Architect Engineer

The Florida Army National Guard requires assistance from IceTech to implement quality of service (QoS) and multicasting across the FLARNG DoD communications network. Over the past few years the FLARNG has attempted to accomplish this task but have determined that they do not have the necessary skill set that is required. The FLARNG requires IceTech with documented past performance in these areas that can provide expert knowledge, skills, and abilities in the area voice communications with emphasis on the implementation of quality of service and multicasting on a WAN. The FLARNG anticipates implementation of these services will improve the overall efficiency of the FLARNG data, voice, and video network across 140 locations.

1) QOS is required to ensure proper packet marking IOT deliver high quality voice and video calls across the enterprise.

2) Multicasting is required to implement multiple paging groups across the enterprise using Cisco Informa Cast 10.5.2. This project will require high level of coordination between the local LANWAN administrators and possibly 3rd party circuit providers.

IceTech Comply with all applicable security requirements identified in the current version of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) installation and configuration of all accordance with the vendor’s recommendations and applicable industry standards and best practices

  • Provide QoS and Multicasting Training Documentation (PDF).
  • As-built documentation updates (PDF) and updated VOIP Network Diagram (Visio).
  • Administration Manuals (PDF).
  • Configurations compatible/IAW with DoD/NGB IP Telephony system and meet JTIC requirements.
  • Provide necessary copies of licenses, utilities or software that maybe required.
  • Provide a detailed test and verification plan for G6’s approval that will be used for system validation.
  • Perform and document the results of the system in accordance with an approved test and acceptance plan.
  • System operates and integrates within the enterprise as promised and meets all manufactures specifications.

Quality of Service and Multicasting to be enabled at the end of the period of performance and expectations:  1) QOS enabled to ensure proper packet marking IOT deliver high quality voice and video calls across the enterprise. 2) Multicasting implemented IOT configure paging groups across the enterprise on VOIP devices. Voice and video calls are clear, free of jitter and no packet loss.
