Implemented a new Content Management System, for the DOT/OSDBU Web Site, which centralized all existing data and web pages into a single Portal Solution, created using ASP.NET.  Previously the data was split between access and SQL databases.  This central approach allows for future data collaboration, faster data backup, increased security and consistent and faster delivery of web pages and related items.  The Portal Solution also has the capacity to host additional sites and change site template while still maintaining the existing content, should the department see a need for it.  In addition, custom modules were also created for the portal solution that streamlined the data entry and delivery process. Our Web Portal for all the states DBE list when from 20,000 users to 47,000 DBE nationwide

Work Flow
The workflow process for tracking issues was changed from the verbal and email submission to a custom web based solution that allowed the customer to submit and view request to the on staff Icetech Web Master and Content Analyst. This approach increased accountability and ensured task completion on a timely basis.  Monthly reports are also generated from this data and give items such as turnaround times and task completed.
