Upgrade Avaya Definity System

SECDEF Communications (DOD)

The Secretary of Defense awarded Icetech to upgrade the existing Avaya Definity System located in Washington D C.  This location requires a CM4 with an S8710 Server with a G650 Gateway, along with several new circuit packs. There is a second location in Pennsylvania which requires an upgrade to Avaya Communication Manager with an S8710 Server and additional licenses. Both of the system upgrades require that they be JITC compliant which will be done on site at the time of installation due to the system being secure with no remote access. Icetech perform the following services and activities described below while installing the equipment. These services, activities, and responsibilities characterize the full set of installation deliverables and develop a project plan outlining key deliverables, schedules and milestones.
The government escorted Icetech’s technician to the Pennsylvania location and back using a government vehicle for transportation. The travel time is approximately a two-hour drive one way.
